is an artical that was in Organic Style magizine written by Debra Ginsberg,June 2005 issue. She has stated that her information was from a book called "Fat Land, How Americans Become the Fatest People in the World " Back to the artical.It was about how the food industry now uses high fructose corn syrup to sweet foods. This product was not around til the 60's . It is a product that is cheaper to use then other sweetners in food. In frozen foods it used in extending shelf life. This product changes the way the body digest HFCS . It processes it in the liver rather in the stomic , incresing the liver to release of fat cells and other things . I was understanding that the best sweetner to use was granulated sugar and sucrose (made from sugar can or sugar beets) It mentioned that corn syrup was only a little better then high fructose corn syrup.
The above was all that I could fit on paper I had reached for out of my purse.. a sales reciet.. The magizine was in my dentist office.
Now there is one more thing to watch out for when I read lables.
